Bad beats: 2013 Sound and Fury Festival cancelled

January 07, 2015

Filed under today’s “total downer news,” the 2013 Sound and Fury Festival(presented by No Sleep Records) has been cancelled, with festival organizers citing “unforeseen circumstances” and “massive financial risk.”

The 2013 event, which would have been the eighth annual iteration of the Southern California festival, was to feature over 60 acts in hardcore and associated genres, including Tragedy, Bane, The Ghost Inside, Strife, and Loma Prieta.

Festival organizers assured that tickets would be fully refunded by the end of the week and offered apologies to all affected parties, stating: “To all of the bands, sponsors, friends, co-workers, and attendees, we are very sorry.”
