Everything must go! Hydra Head’s Super-Power Yard Sale

January 08, 2015

Hydra Head Records, which decided late last year to halt new releases for financial reasons, is closing the doors of its LA headquarters in an unfathomably awesome garage sale of sorts. The “Hydra Head Super-Power Yard Sale™” might be a bittersweet event at heart, but the goods (and the name) say otherwise: $1 T-shirts, $5 CDs, and free test pressings for the first five visitors are just a taste of the items.

There also are some things you might expect from a liquidation sale (office furniture and literally anything hanging on the walls), but also more than a few “Hydra Head Super-Rarities™” like original pressings, split LPs, and Isis boxsets.

The Super-Power-Yard Sale is set for Saturday, May 26 from noon to 7 PM. Check HHR’s website for more info and details.
